Calling all potential committee clerks, and all interested Friends! A workshop on Clerking will be offered in October and November. Four 2-hour sessions will be facilitated by members of the ad hoc planning committee: Marianne Clinton-McCausland, Susan De Vries, Lael Gatewood and Joelyn Malone. One session will focus specifically on committee clerks. We will be using a worship sharing/discussion format and a variety of (short) reading materials. A nominal fee will be charged for copying materials and for purchase of several pamphlets. The schedule at TCFM will be: Tuesday, Oct. 10, 7-9 pm; Tuesday, Oct. 24,7-9 pm; Tuesday, Nov. 7, 7-9 pm; Sunday, Nov. 19, 5-7 pm. The last session will be a celebratory potluck shared with the 2007 FGC Gathering Co-Clerks: Cynthia Bartoo and Marian and Rich Van Dellen.
